40 years as a photogrammetrist at various locations across the country
4 years with the U.S. Navy discharged as photographers mate second class where I honed the skills that I have used since applying the tried and true basics of film to the now very versatile digital cameras.
In the private world of photogrammetry served as Pilot, mission navigator, aerial photographer using precision cartographic mapping cameras, photo lab darkroom, Stereoscopic mapping, and digital manipulation of images as manager and owner.
United States, Mexico, Canadian border, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and the Panama Canal.
• 20 years as a technician, 10 years company manager, 10 years owner and manager of my own company. • Trained individuals and groups in basic to specialized photography for 4 offices of the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Two County Art Centers and two church groups in the Louisville area• retired at 60 and reinvested myself in conventional photography as a hobby. Specialized primarily in wild birds and birds in flight plus wildflowers and very select portraits. • At the beginning of Covid created and published the periodical, “the Perspective”, a free photographic newsletter with limited circulation now out of print.
